Halls Fine Art Paintings and Prints department cover all major European and British art movements, ranging from Old Masters, 19th Century paintings, prints and multiples, as well as sporting and wildlife art.
Paintings and prints are a staple fixture in the auction calendar, with dedicated specialist sales as well as multi-disciplinary auctions each month.
With consistently strong results in early portraiture, 19th century landscapes, British watercolours and sporting art, the department is growing rapidly and able to support the research and sale of large single owner and corporate collections, estate sales as well as private consignments.
Our department is run by specialist Abigail Molenaar who is an experienced valuer, passionate about paintings and modern art, having built up a strong reputation as the leading pictures department in the region.
At our head office in Shrewsbury our Paintings and Prints specialist provides free valuations each weekday by appointment, and also by email, or via home visit. We also host regular additional valuation events around the UK, please do check our events page for upcoming dates.
