Shrewsbury jewellery auction timed for Valentine’s Day gift hunters

Our auction perfectly timed for shoppers hunting affordable Valentine’s Day gifts for their loved ones is expected to attract keen interest on Wednesday, 10th February.

Fifty lots of period, design and fashion jewellery ranging in estimate from £50 to £500 will be going under the hammer at our Battlefield salerooms.

For those thinking of popping the question, there’s a three stone diamond ring and a ruby and diamond ring each valued at between £300 to £500 and an emerald and diamond ring at up to £180.

For those already married, the auction has a seven stone diamond eternity ring at up to £150, an aquamarine hinged bangle at up to £250, faceted amethyst bead necklace at up to £100, Georg Jensen silver earrings at up to £80, a cultured pearl necklace at up to £60 and a collection of hard stone and shell ornamental necklaces at up to £60.

“Most of the lots are in the £50 to £250 price estimate range, which makes the auction an ideal place to pick up an affordable Valentine’s Day gift,” said Maryanne Lineker-Mobberley, head of our silver and jewellery department.
