and several pieces of correspondence between Sergeant J Lloyd and G.H Tate regarding recruitment, including one dated 4th June 1915, 'Dear Tate, the R.A.M.C is closed at present, but Cyril Walker would be accepted, as Chemist's assistant are required. Yes, I was very pleased we got those lads from Winterton. I hope we shall have some more in here soon. Shall I send a calling up paper to Walker and Ja** and see if I can get them passed through.
