Northern European rapier smallsword, 18th century

A Northern European rapier smallsword, 18th century, with a triangular 60.5cm long blade with remains of etching, a double shell guard with pierced floral scrolls, D-shaped knuckle bow, pierced and chiselled ball pommel, wire-bound grip, in a brown leather scabbard with white metal locket engraved with foliate panels, overall length 78cm
(at fault, lower portion of blade missing, guard detached and pommel loose)
