A World War 1 trio comprising 1914 Mons Star, War Medal and Victory Medal awarded to "1848 Pte. T. Ward - 16 Lond. R." with three ribbon bar and silver rosette (denotes clasp awarded) together with 1914 brass Christmas box with Christmas card, employment card and registration card, and a silver war badge numbered 115524.

1848 Rifleman Thomas Ward, 1/16th Queen's Westminster Rifles, confirmed on medal rolls and silver war badge records. Attestation forms show Ward was 26 years old at enlistment and reached the Expeditionary Force in France on 1st November 1914. He was discharged on 8th August 1916.
