An early 20th-century compass and mirror clinometer by J. Hicks, 8 Hatton Garden London, registered design 14th March 1901, in leather case, together with a pair of marine binoculars in leather case.

Compass/Clinometer - Captain Donald Bremner RA (1864-1935). Engraved 'D Bremner' to both sides and further inscribed in ink to the case.
Marine Binoculars - Flt Lt Francis Donald Holden Bremner RNAS (1893-1983). The leather case bears impressed initials F.D.H.B.
