A large Walter Moorcroft Trial 'Rock of Ages' vase, dated 1999, later to become an edition of 50 in this size, painted and impressed marks,37cm high (chipped with associated cracks). Boxed.

Provenance: The Peter Richards' Collection. Sold together with a Moorcroft Collector's Club letter congratulating the vendor for winning this Trial vase in a prize draw at the Christmas Open Weekend and a letter from Walter Moorcroft describing the process and inspiration for this vase.

Condition Report

Sadly, the vase has had some sort of impact or fall damage near the rim, with a loss of glaze and associated star cracks. Ripe for professional restoration.
