The painting is an oil on canvas, framed without glazing. canvas has loss of tension and large hole in the centre of the sitter's forehead as well as some minor holes lower down, loose on the stretcher. The paint surface has several scratches some with paint loss. Dirt and surface level accretions throughout. Frame has wear and tear and some surface losses.
