A Ko Imari Kakiemon style Namban Bowl, Edo era, circa 1770
Of lobed circular form and moulded in low relief with two sages in a bamboo grove, painted in underglaze blue with a scene of a Namban or Tojin figure accompanied by a shi-shi beside a bamboo tree, the rim dressed in dark brown, 15.5cm dia.

Condition Report

Small glaze imperfection to outside of the rim. Very small flat chip inside the foot rim.
