Anna Rychter-May, although a watercolourist, drew this same street scene from a similar position. See lot 167 in Christies sale on the 23rd of September 2010, estimated at £500-700 and sold for £1,875, including premium. Anna Rychter-May specialised in scenes of the Holy land.

Condition Report

Some paint loss, including where creased across lower left corner. Lacking other three corners. No frame. Some surface decorators paint and dirt.
