Condition Report

The painting is a watercololour on paper, comprising brown wash and pencil underdrawing. It is framed under glazing, not examined external to the frame. The sheet appears in good condition with no obvious evidence for any rips, creasing or folds and the surface appears to be stable without overt deterioration. There is some general ageing to the paper (yellowing) commensurate with age. The paint surface appears stable and well preserved. The frame has general wear and tear and solid joints.
