A First World War 1914 Mons Star awarded to "Capt. G. H. Stevenson R.A.M.C", with original envelope and box of issue

Notes: Gerald Hoey Stevenson was born in Ireland on 8th May 1882. He joined the RAMC as a Lt. on 30th July 1906 rose to the rank of Honourary Lt. Colonel. Stevenson was awarded the Distinguished Service Order and further Mentioned in Despatches in SUPPLEMENT TO THE LONDON GAZETTE, 21 JULY, 1917, page 7455.

(This G.H Stevenson not to be confused with another Captain George Henderson Stevenson RAMC, who from the medal rolls was seemingly issued Gerald's 1914 Star in error by the officials).
