Condition Report
The painting is an oil on canvas, framed without glazing. The canvas has one small puncture hole in the top left corner area with surface loss (please refer to photographs), there are no other visible tears or holes to the canvas, some slight loss of tension observable. There is surface level craquelure to the paint, the paint surface appears stable and well preserved. There is some ageing to the varnish and surface dirt. The frame has surface losses and the surface is quite fragile- with gesso flaking.
