First World War Military pair of medals awarded to Gnr T. Bee, comprising Military Medal named to "56662 Gnr T. B. C.112 / BDE: R.F.A" and a British War Medal named to "56662 Gnr. T. Bee R.A.", lacking ribbons.
Notes: Gunner Thomas Charles Bee was born on 29th August 1892 and enlisted for service on 2nd June 1914. He was sadly killed in action on 13th October 1916. At this stage of the war, 112 Brigade was serving with the 25th Battalion fighting in the Battle of Ancre Heights (1 October – 11 November 1916). He is buried in Bapaume Post Military Cemetery, Albert. His name appears on the monument at the Memorial Park in Fleetwood. Confirmed as a recipient of the Military Medal.
