An Art Deco diamond set brooch attributed to Cartier, designed as a central principle old cut diamond mounted within a pave old cut diamond pierced surround of radiating circular design, the white metal reverse engraved 'B3497', 35mm diameter, weight approx 12.3g, presented within fitted Cartier red leather and tooled gilt box (some damage)

Condition Report

Principle diamond measures approx 7.5mm diameter x 2.3mm deep, estimated diamond weight approx 0.85cts, some small nibbles to the girdle, clarity estimated approx SI1, colour estimated H/I, four further diamonds each weigh approx 0.10cts, outer border of diamonds each weigh approx 0.05cts, remaining pave diamonds to mount are rose cuts, top of mount has vacant hinge where pendant bail may have been located, some small gaps/splits to where the circular brooch frame meets the mount, engraved to reverse 'B3497', general wear, refer to images
