Condition Report
The painting is an oil on board, framed under glazing, not examined external to the frame. The paint appears generally well preserved, there is some craquelure present to the saddle, head and bridle area but there does not appear to be paint loss or deterioration overall. There is some ageing (yellowing) to the varnish in the skyline as well as some dirt and surface level accretions on the surface. The frame has general wear and tear and dirt.
