A 19th century mahogany cellarette or coal compendium, of tall sarcophagus form, the stepped hinged cover opening to reveal the original twin-handled liner, flanked by brass handles, raised on four claw and ball feet, 48 cm high, 41 x 33 cm.

Condition Report

In generally good, clean condition - cosmetic blemishes throughout commensurate with age and use.


The legs are quite likely later additions.
