A late 19th century opal and diamond necklace

A late 19th century opal and diamond necklace, designed as two heart shaped opals mounted to graduated old and rose cut diamond set stylised bow, suspending two rose cut diamond set chains terminating in opal drops, all with attached yellow metal chain with bolt ring clasp, not stamped, pendant measures approx 72mm long (from bow to drop), weight approx 10.3g

Condition Report

Small crack to one of the heart shaped opals and some nibbles to the edges of the other heart shaped opal, heart shaped opals measure approx 11mm x 9.5mm, good vibrant play of colour with some orange-red tones, wear to the claws, general wear throughout but no significant visible damage, refer to images
