Condition Report

Oil on canvas, framed without glazing. Tension is good. Colours well preserved. Light craquelure through the sky -upper left - and more obvious craquelure around the rowing boat and the waves below. See additional photographs. Light surface accretions. The bottom stretcher is very taught against the lower part of the canvas, pushing it slightly forward (this is not apparent to the naked eye but can be felt to the touch). The frame's joints are sound and overall it is in good condition.
