Pierre Jules Mene (French, 1810-79), a standing goat, signed in the casting, loaded bronze, 25cm, with a bronze plaque, tondo, of the Madonna and child in a gilt gesso frame, inscribed verso 'Rome 1914', 18cm diameter (2)

Condition Report

Goat lacking one horn, base plaster filled, plaque frame chipped - 3cm on top edge and inside border.
