A small Chinese sancai glazed jar or water pot Tang Dynasty (618-907) Of globular form with slightly compressed top and an incised rim line, decorated with a splashed amber, green and cream glaze stopping short of the foot, with hardwood stand. 8cm dia. FOOTNOTE: A near identical jarlet of the same period but with a cover was sold at Christie's New York rooms, 18 September 2003, lot 223
