The painting is an oil on canvas, framed without glazing, the canvas being of good tension and no obvious evidence for tears, holes or rips. The paint surface appears to be stable without obvious visible signs of paint loss or deterioration. There are some minor surface accretions, spots of dirt and to minimal surface scratches which have not resulted in paint loss. THe frame is of good condition with solid joints, minor wear and tear
