After Canova, a composite stone bust of the Young Octavian

After Antonio Canova (1757 - 1822), 'The Young Octavian', a reconstituted stone bust of the Emperor Augustus (63BC-14AD), facing slightly to sinister and set on a plain socle, 52.5cm high.

Condition Report

Fractures and staining/bruising to the left temple and cheek. Lesser staining to hairline. Small fracture inside left ear. Small old chips to edges and to socle.
