An 18th century oak dresser

An 18th century oak dresser, the associated two-tier rack with an open fretwork frieze, the base with two frieze drawers above two fielded panelled doors, raised on extended stiles, later elements, restoration and damage, 143cm wide, 48.5cm deep x 180.5cm high

Condition Report

Restorations, including patch - 40cm x 1cm on front and later 20cm x 10.5cm section of top on left side. Rack - later backboards and sections on left and right sides. Damage - including cracks, including 42cm and 22cm on top. Drawers with later handles and old handle positions dowelled, which are visible. Back stiles and front left stiles - bottom 15cm x 27cm later. Drawers, stiles and doors cracked. Chips, dents and scratches consistent with age and use, A/F.
