Chris Insoll (b.1956) is a British artist heavily associated with Cornwall, particularly Porthscatho where he maintains a studio on the coast. He studied at the Chelsea School of Art and Falmouth School of Art. He established the Porthscatho Society of Arts in 1984 and is active in the Cornish arts circles. He has exhibited widely in the UK and Europe and in 1992 was prize winner at the La Federation Nationale de la culture Francaise. He has works in both the Royal Cornwalls Museum and Falmouth Art Gallery.

Condition Report

The painting is framed without glazing, the frame in generally good condition with minor signs of wear-and-tear. The paint is in good overall condition without any signs of paint loss or deterioration.
