'Dear Vernon, I am happy in your happiness. God speed you - Comteist tho you be. Do you honeymoon here? And can we help about a house? I have got one which I hope will be empty, when you come if you come.'

One side with integral blank, with the original envelope and Tennyson's monogrammed wax seal.

Cataloguer's note: A comteist is a follower of the philosophical system of Auguste Comte, the founder of Positivism. Vernon Lushington was a noted Positivist.
