A 19th century sapphire and diamond ring, designed as three oval-round mixed cut sapphires each claw set in yellow metal within old mine cut diamond set surrounds, the yellow metal shank stamped '18', ring size N 1/2, weight approx 4.1g

Condition Report

Central sapphire measures approx 5mm x 4.5mm x 3.5mm deep, outer sapphires each measure approx 3.4mm diameter x 2-2.5mm deep, good medium-deep blue saturation of colour, some small inclusions seen with 10x, diamonds weigh approx 0.06cts, clarity range estimated SI1-I2, some with small chips, one diamond appears to be a replacement 'eight cut', colour range estimated H/I- K/L (a few slighty tinted), wear to claws and mount expected with age, general wear, thinning to shank, refer to images
