19th Century

Of baluster form, the domed cover with lion finial, decorated with Confucian boys standing either side of large vases, surrounded by birds in flowering branches, beneath a diaper panel border to the rim, the base with a border of stiff banana leaves.

Condition Report

Cover finial restored. Vase restored to the rim where there was an apparent chip along with associated cracks running into the body.
