Three Australian boomerangs

Three Australian boomerangs, of typical form and decorated with incised geometric forms, 62cm. (3)

Acquired in the late 1800s by Guy Evers, English international rugby union forward, thence by descent to the vendor.

Guy Evers (1874-1959) played as a forward for Moseley and was a player in the British Lions Tour of Australia in 1899. He was evidently well-travelled and acquired tribal works from Australia and Africa.

Condition Report
Some minor nibbles to the edges. General signs of age and use throughout. No drill holes.
