A Charles II quadruple panelled coffer, later carved with a lunette frieze and lozenge panels, the stiles with a repeating thumb carved pattern, raised on extended stiles, 120cm wide x 55.5cm deep x 68cm high

Condition Report

Three of the top’s panels badly cracked and one of the panels on the front also badly cracked. Base of back stiles chipped and ‘frassed’. Chips, dents and scratches consistent with age and use. Candle box lacking cover.
