A large collection of Chinese mother-of-pearl gaming counters, including round, rectangular, oval, elliptical and fish forms, varying in size, each finely incised with flowers, borders and other motifs, some with monograms, approximately 265, together with a Chinese export lacquer box, of rectangular outline and decorated in gilt with figures in landscapes against a dark brown ground, 21cm wide. Condition Report

Counters: Predominantly in good condition. A few with tiny chips. A small number broken.

Box: Hinges worn. Some chips, flakes and wear to the lacquer especially to the corners. Surface wear to the top. Abrasions to the underside.
