Selwyn Jones (1928-1998) was a Welsh 20th Century artist from Llanberis, Gwynedd. He worked oils, using thickly laden brushstrokes. Jones trained a book illustrator at the Regional College of Art in Manchester, spending the majority of his working life teaching art in North Wales, becoming Head of Art at the National College of Education, Bangor and established the Foundation Studies course at Gwynedd Technical College.
