Condition Report
The artwork is a work on paper, framed under glazing, not examined external to the frame. The full sheet is present, with no obvious evidence for losses, tears or creasing, full margins are present and the platemark clearly defined and visible. There is evidence of general ageing to the paper (yellowing) and there is foxing to the margins as well as a group of faint foxing spots to the back end of the horse. The colours are well preserved and appear stable. The frame has wear and tear, the piece would benefit from re-framing and mounting.
