Two Belleek vases, First Period

A Belleek spill vase, First Period (circa 1863-90), the tall vase surrounded by a gecko or salamander, on a naturalistic circular base, black printed factory mark, 22cm high; together with a Belleek First Period seahorse with shell vase with the pink-tinted interior, black printed and impressed marks, 10cm high

Condition Report

Salamander with small section of glaze loss and discolouration to the tip of its nose alongside three small hairline cracks to the underside of the base, probably manufacturing flaws.
Seahorse shell with small shrinkage crack to one side of the stomach area and one further shrinkage crack to the underside of the base.
