An early 20th century opal and diamond brooch, designed as a central oval cabochon opal milligrain set within an openwork scroll mount set with graduated old and rose cut diamonds, all mounted to bar and with attached safety chain, not stamped, weight approx 5.8g

Condition Report

Opal measures approx 9.5mm x 8mm x 4mm deep, opal has good play of colour with green, blue and orange hues, diamonds are bright, largest stones weighs approx 0.07cts, smallest stones are 1/2-1pts, clarity range estimated SI1-I2, a couple of small chips to diamonds, colour range estimated G/H/I, securing clasp slightly loose, some wear to claws and general overal wear, refer to images
