A rare Caughley 'Thorny Rose' mug, circa 1775-79, transfer-printed in underglaze blue, with four unusual underglaze blue butterfly marks and an S mark to the base, 12cm high and 8cm diameter.

Provenance: Exhibited at 1999 Caughley Bicentenary Exhibition, no. 30.
