A 19th century black marble mantel clock by William Johnson, London, the architectural case with cavetto cornice and twin fluted half-column pilasters, raised on a plinth base, the gilt metal dial with black Roman numerals and scroll-tooled central field, signed Wm. Johnson, Hercules Passage, the eight-day movement striking on a bell, 35cm high x 38cm wide.

The case has some minor chips and nibbles around the base plinth. Front right corner of plinth has a small repair. Dial appears good. Movement winds, runs and strikes. Only run during inspection and not tested for longevity/timekeeping.
