An imposing late 19th century, 18th century style, ebonised and gilt metal mounted, three-train bracket clock, with 'flame' finials, applied masks and caryatids, the sides with pierced and relief-moulded sound frets, the 8" foliate engraved, gilded, arched dial, with strike/silent dial in the arch and an 8-day, triple fusee, three-train musical movement, striking on 5 gongs, with a matching bracket, clock 65cm high. With bracket approximately 95cm high. With bracket, pendulum, winder and key (5)

Condition Report

Back door and frame damaged, especially moulding along the opening edge of the top and right edges. Left side of door cracked and damaged. Working train not operational in vendor's home. Striking train appears to work, as 1-2 o'clock chimes as it should. Overall bracket ok, like clock, apart from minor chips dents and scratches.
