Several are addressed to Peter Crosthwaite at Keswick Museum and relate to the donation of objects and sale of Lake District views. With letters from landscape artists Joseph Farrington (2), Peter Holland (2), Westgarth Foster (2) and Benjamin Rogers (4 plus one from his wife or daughter). With 24 receipts from bookseller William Pennington of Kendal, 1795-1807, and 9 envelopes with penny red stamps. Circa 70 items
