A good George II, solid mahogany, mule chest on stand, with re-entrant corners on the moulded rectangular top above brass carrying handles and backplates, the stand with a shaped apron and dwarf cabriole legs terminating in club feet, 127cm wide x 58cm deep x 105cm high

Condition Report

Generally good. Later handles, positions of old handles evident. later strips on the base of the top on the left and right sides, mostly hidden by the retaining moulding of the base. The top edge of the stand chipped on the back left corner. Base of the rear of the upper section lacking a section. Old dents and scratches consistent with age and use.
