A pair of Chinese porcelain famille rose plaques, Republic Period (1912-1949), each of rectangular form with scrolling foliate borders and a two line inscription with seal mark, one plaque decorated with a mountainous landscape, the other showing a river scene with two swallows swooping overhead, with blossoming plant and rock work in the foreground, each enclosed in a hardwood frame, plaques measuring approximately 31.5cm x 22.5cm (2)
