A 19th century, Louis XV style, walnut marquetry and brass mounted petite commode, the rectangular top with an inset skiver and 3/4 pierced brass gallery, above 4 shallow drawers, on cabriole legs terminating in moulded brass sabots, 44cm wide x 33cm deep x 73cm high

Condition Report

One leg broken off, veneer loss particularly around leg break but elsewhere too, including left stile, left side edge and around two keyholes, face of third drawer down and 4cm length on base of right rear leg, one sabot loose. Lacking elements, including two escutcheons. Leather top stained and faded. Additional chips, scratches and dents consistent with age and use.
