A large Chinese bronze figure of Laozi on a buffalo, Qing Dynasty, the philosopher seated and holding a scroll in his right hand, the beast standing four square with its head turned back to the left, on a separately cast kidney-form stand worked with archaistic symbols, 56cm high.
