comprising '1940-42 Combined Operations'; 'Bomber Command Continues' and 'Coastal Command' (London, His Majesty's Stationary Office); 'Instructions for British Servicemen in France' (reprint); a group of correspondence and other related items relating to 1432316 W/Sgt. Hubert George Finch, Heavy Anti-Aircraft, Royal Artillery, including record of service, certificate of award for Territorial Efficiency medal and a Defence Medal claim, letter of award for the Defence medal with original 2 1/2 inches of the medal ribbon attached, a telegram to his mother dated 25th August 1939 stating 'Am on my way home. Been called up. Please get clothes ready. Hubert'; a Calling Out Notice dated 2nd September 1939, post-war correspondence regarding being placed on the reserve list and reservist particulars, Soldiers Release book, Finch's post-war dark blue military beret with Voluntary Civil Aid Service (VCAS) patch; pair of cloth VCAS shoulders title and a cut-out uniform patch with Bushey title etc
