Condition Report

The painting is an oil on board and is framed without glazing. The paint surface has deep craquelure in the background exposing the board beneath, there is finer craquelure throughout the face and hair, some minor paint loss and flaking. There are accretions throughout and some dirt. The frame appears solid with secure joints, with surface cracks throughout and a deeper crack in the bottom right corner. Surface losses throughout the frame including to the edges.
