Taxidermy: a tiger skin rug with head, possibly Rowland Ward

Taxidermy: Indian tiger skin rug (Panthera tigris tigris), circa 1934 and possibly by Rowland Ward, skin rug with head mount, jaw agape, glass eyes, original backing lost with only fragments remaining to tail, 244cm nose to tail, 200cm across forelimbs.

Condition Report
Generally tired throughout. Loss to lower part front of mouth. Loss to nose. Tips of ears degraded. Fur losses to areas of head and jaws. Hole at base of neck. Fur losses to both flanks. Tares to limbs. Tares and losses to tail. Claws: FL-4, FR-5, BL-4, BR-2.
