A pair of 19th / early 20th century continental landscapes

A pair of 19th / early 20th century continental landscapes, one detailing a castle and town before snow capped mountains, the other a lakeside pathway with distant mountains, oil on board, the largest measuring 8 x 12 cm, both glazed and set in Florentine type scrolling pierced gilt carved wood frames, 19 x 23 cm.

Condition Report
The painting with the town before the mountains has some fine craquelure upon the paint surface but the paint appears to be in a stable condition. There is some dirt to the mount and the frame has some general wear and tear including some wearing and cracking of the gold paint. 

The painting of the lakeside is in good condition with stable paint surface. There is some dirt to the mount and some general wear and tear to the frame including some wearing and cracking of the gold paint. There is also a loose edge to the top inner right of the frame edge.

Bidding indicates acceptance of the condition of the lot.  All lots are sold subject to general wear and tear commensurate with age and handling over time and only obvious faults will be mentioned after a visual inspection.
