Inscribed 'To my darling Peg who was 'Meg' with love and endless thanks from this M.E.G 1922'. 'Peg' was Margaret Jefferson Hogg (1896-1979), daughter of John Ewer Jefferson Hogg, OBE, DL, who was Mayor of Chelsea for four terms. Peggy later married Rev (Walter) Sidney Scott, sometime vicar of Selborne, Hants. With 12 tipped-in colour plates. Remains of dust wrapper.
