A pair of Samson of Paris porcelain wall brackets, second half 19th century, each bracket with gilt lined plinth above a cherub holding a floral garland within floral borders and against a duck egg blue shell alcove within scroll and foliate borders, the tops finely painted with rose sprays and sprigs, under glaze blue spurious crossed swords mark (one badly chipped), 26cm high, 21 cm wide.
