Michael Smart 'After Me the Flood' print signed by various RAF crew and Sir Richard Todd

Michael Smart 'After Me The Flood', limited edition print depicting Guy Gibson with his dog in front of a 617 Sqn Lancaster at RAF Scampton, framed, overall dimensions 68cm 60cm.

With the signatures, personally collected by the vendor, of:
1. Sir Richard Todd OBE, who played Guy Gibson in the 1954 film “The Dambusters”. Signed 25.10.03.
2. Keith “Lofty” Stretch, 617 Sqn. Engine fitter on Les Knights’ aircraft for the Dams raid.
3. W/O Colin Cole. Wireless operator on 617 Sqn from August 1944 to May 1945. Died 7.5.16
4. Flt Lt Raymond Ernest Grayston. Joined RAFVR 1940. 50 Sqn Lancaster, Skellingthorpe Oct 42. 617 Sqn March 1943, flight engineer on Les Knight’s ED912/AJ-N, which successfully breached the Eder dam 17 May 1943. Shot down and taken prisoner on Ladbergen raid 15 Sep 1943. Retired Oct 45. Signed 8.5.04.
5. Cpl Beck Parsons, joined RAF 1940, ground crew electrician 207 Sqn Manchester, then 617 Sqn from March 1943 as NCO in charge of electrics. Prepared PO Ottley’s aircraft ED910/AJ-C for the dams raid (shot down near Hamm on outward leg). Signed 8.5.04
5. LAC Harold Roddis, fitter on F/O Jeff Rice’s Lancaster ED936/AJ-H 617 Sqn at the time of the Dams Raid (hit sea on outward leg and returned to Scampton). Signed 8.5.04.
6. Sgt Fred “Doc” Sutherland RCAF. Front gunner on Les Knights aircraft ED912/AJ-N that successfully breached the Eder dam on 17 May 1943. Shot down on Ladbergen raid 15 Sep 1943 but evaded capture. Signed 8.5.04. Died 21.1.19.
7. Flt Sgt Grant McDonald RCAF. Rear gunner on Ken Brown’s aircraft ED918/AJ-F that scored a direct hit on the Sorpe dam. Shot up three trains on the run-in. Signed 8.5.04.
